Why Ringana
A legacy that began with wanting clean products.
In 1996, Andreas Wilfinger and Ulla Wannemacher looked at the ingredient list on a toothpaste their young son brought home — and were stunned by what they found in a product made for children.
Instead of accepting it, they built the alternative. Ringana became Austria's first fresh cosmetics company, founded on a simple conviction: what goes on your body and in your body should need no apology. No artificial preservatives. No mineral oils. No microplastics. No fillers standing in for function.
Every product is developed, produced, and shipped from Ringana's own campus. Small batches, made to order, with plant actives at full potency. It's why their products carry an expiration date like fresh food does — not as a limitation, but as proof that nothing artificial is holding them together.
The toothpaste moment
Two parents in Hartberg, Austria refuse to accept questionable ingredients in everyday products — and found Ringana.
The Frischewerk
Ringana opens its own "fresh factory," bringing development and production fully in-house.
The campus
A new headquarters opens in St. Johann in der Haide — one of Austria's most ambitious sustainable builds, powered by geothermal and solar.
America
Ringana invests $85 million in its first U.S. headquarters, production, and distribution facility in Roanoke, Virginia — so products are made fresh on American soil.
Your chapter
The American story is just beginning — and the community that steps in now gets to help write it together.
